For the Nigeria 96 reissue with Ultra Football Magazine, we looked back at one of the most important moments in African football. In 1996 Nigeria became the first African nation to win Olympic football, defeating Brazil and Argentina on the way to gold. For Nigerians across the diaspora it was a moment of pride that travelled far beyond the pitch, Naija no Dey carry last. This shoot features Nigerian Australians from the local community, reflecting how that legacy continues to live on here. Through the Nigeria 96 shirt, the story connects a historic moment in football with the people and communities who still carry it today. Football till the end fr.
