Not all the disposables from show week made it...but here are some faves 💕
Getting to bring Prima Donna's first project, 'If You Think This Show Is About You, It Probably Is' to the New Theatre a few weeks back was a dream, a joy, a pleasure, you name it.
Thanks to everyone who came to see the show and the amazing team I had surrounding me ❤️
Tomorrow night @primadonnacollective presents the opening of 'If You Think This Show Is About You, It Probably Is' at @thenewtheatre
It's so exciting (and bizarre) to think that we are one sleep away from welcoming audiences in to see this show. It has been a journey to get to this point and I'm so grateful to the team around me for being so supportive for a piece this personal.
💕 All my love and thanks to:
✨️ Conrad, Evan, Abi, Jess, and Sarah for bringing their skills and immaculate vibes to the production
✨️ Ciara Byrne for the cutest artwork
✨️ Pippa Molony for the beautiful photography (as seen above)
✨️ The team at New Theatre for being so helpful over the past week, and for taking us in
✨️ and everyone who sent messages of support, shared posts, donated to our gofundme - I can't wait to see you at the show, and have fun together in the theatre.
If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, you better head to the link in my bio and grab yours now!
I'll see you there ❤️

‘If You Think This Show Is About You, It Probably Is’, the debut project of the Prima Donna Collective.
It is about love, heartbreak, Dublin, the places you can’t go back to because it hurts too much, change, closure, and secrets.
Presented as a confessional-style theatre piece, journey with Luka as she moves through Dublin city locations of relationships past. You never know what shadows might haunt you along the way.

From day one in the rehearsal room, to on stage for the dress rehearsal. I have had one hell of time getting to direct this group of DYT members for their Debut One Act Festival.
Their commitment, energy, and positivity was everything that someone who is terrified to call themselves a director could want.
I am full of pride and love for what this show has become, all thanks to them.
If you want to see a silly little show full of biblical references, a soundtrack with maybe too much range, and the pure heart of young actors: come see 'Apocalypse Soon' in the Teachers Club this week

A couple of weeks ago, @primadonnacollective had their first showcase/rehearsed reading for the work-in-progress 'If You Think This Show Is About You, It Probably Is'. It was my first time performing in a year and a half, and my first time performing in Dublin in almost 2 years. I couldn't have asked for a better first audience or a better reaction to the piece. My heart was so full afterwards. I was so nervous leading up to it that a show all about me wouldn't be relatable or even enjoyable, but here are one of the moments that squashed that thought.
I couldn't have done any of this without the support of everyone who came along, those who donated, and those who showed support on social media But I ESPECIALLY couldn't have done it without the amazing artist that is @art_bykira whose artwork brought so much more to the room and the stories, and of course, this whole project would have never existed without @conrad.j.b who provided the most stunning soundtrack to my history of heartbreak, as well as years of friendship, support, patience, and belief.
More to come 🤞🏻
'If You Think This Show Is About You, It Probably Is' is about love, heartbreak, Dublin, the places you can't go back to because it hurts too much, change, closure, and secrets. Presented as a confessional-style theatre piece, the show is made up of monologues written by myself about my own past relationships and the locations in Dublin that they haunt. The piece will also feature original music composed by @conrad.j.b , as well as original artwork by @art_bykira
I would love to invite you to this work-in-progress showcase of the Prima Donna Collective's debut show, held in Studio 6 of the Temple Bar Gallery & Studios, on Thursday 24th August at 7pm.
