✨ Introducing: The Create Space Collective ✨
One of the best parts of Create Space isn’t just what happens during the program — it’s what happens after.
I’m excited to share something new I’ve been dreaming up…
The Create Space Collective is an exclusive community for women who have gone through the Create Space program or my 1:1 coaching. It’s a space to stay connected, keep learning, and continue saying yes to curiosity, creativity, and community.
Throughout the year, I’ll host members-only experiences designed to bring us back together and help you try new things — without pressure, perfection, or performance.
A few things already in the works:
✨ A special Jazzercise class in January (because y’all love to dance) with @jazzerciseclt & @cassaramber
✨ A half-day pottery wheel retreat in February with @create_statesville and @ginscott1
This isn’t about adding more to your plate.
It’s about staying connected to the version of you that created space in the first place.
If you’ve been part of Create Space or worked with me 1:1 — welcome. You’re already in 💛
More details coming soon.

Sometimes the universe whispers. And sometimes, it stacks the signs until you can’t ignore them anymore.
For me, it started with reading Find Your Unicorn Space—a book that lit a spark I didn’t know I was missing. It reminded me how vital it is for women to have space for joy, creativity, and identity beyond the roles we carry.
Then I coached a woman who wanted to write a book—but every time she carved out time to write, she felt guilty for putting herself first. This made my heart so sad.
Soon after, I started noticing post after post in local women’s groups. Women saying they didn’t have hobbies, they’d lost touch with who they were, and they were desperate for connection.
And then after a breakdown moment with my business coach, she gently nudged me to create space for myself. That stuck with me.
It was like the universe was tapping me on the shoulder—again and again—saying, this matters.
Just days later, I had hip replacement surgery, and for the first time in a long time, I was forced to slow down. And in that stillness, the idea for Create Space arrived.
By March 20, I reached out to Haley at SkillPop. By April 20, we launched the program.
Create Space is a 12-week experience for women who are ready to make room for joy, creativity, and connection. With hands-on workshops like yoga, watercolor painting, needlepoint, and mobile photography—plus small-group coaching circles—I built it to be the space I wish I had when I needed it most.
And now it’s here.
And I’d love for you to be part of it.

PPS Moms and Alumni Moms: 7 spots left. 🧡
Eight Providence Prep moms have already signed up for the Create Space summer cohort — and we’d love to fill this group to 15.
Here’s what Elisabeth M. shared after completing Create Space last summer:
“What started as a summer cohort turned into something bigger — the realization that I can spend time creating space for who I am outside of the 3 Ps (Partner, Parent, Professional). If you’re on the fence — do it.”
Create Space is a 10-week program blending hands-on creative sessions (watercolor, sourdough, embroidery, candle making, and more) with guided self-discovery. Small cohort. Real conversations. No planning or performing required.
Enrollment is $475. Spots are first-come, first-served.

Know a mom who needs this — even if her kids don’t go to PPS? The offer is open to her too. Tag her below. ⬇️ #createspace #charlottemoms
This is Jenn (and Allison).
Jenn was part of Create Space in the winter — and this week, she joined our spring cohort for Mahjong night.
Jenn had a conflict with the Mahjong class during her program. Because I know schedules happen, I built in a policy to allow one make-up class in a future cohort.
If life gets in the way and you miss a session, you don’t lose it. You carry it into the next cohort and make it up there. The flexibility is built in — because I know that nine weeks of real life is a lot, and I never want a busy week to be the reason you don’t join.
If you’ve been on the fence because you can’t guarantee you’ll make every single session — this is your sign.
Spots are limited. Join today the summer session program today. 💛
I shake my head every time I hear this; mahjong is like bizzaro world - but so fun!
The spring cohorts are finishing their hobby classes this week. Mahjong is the last class. Next week we have our final reflection session. 🥺
Want to learn mahjong and other hobbies? Join Create Space this summer! Enrollment closes soon.
⏳18 hours of time that’s entirely yours
🎨 Creativity and hobbies
🤗 Connection with other women
Create Space is a 10-week experience for women in Charlotte who are ready to set down the mental load and pick up something just for them — watercolor, embroidery, sourdough, candle making, and more.
Activities that are good for your health: learning something new with your hands lowers cortisol and quiets the nervous system.
And doing it alongside a small group of women who show up for each other? That’s its own kind of medicine.
You walk in not knowing anyone. You leave with a village.
If you’re a mom who gives everything to everyone else — this is the gift that gives back to you.
Enrollment is open. Link in profile. Send it to your partner now.
PS enrollment is not limited to moms! #cltwomen #cltmoms #charlottemoms
What if you could take six different SkillPop classes this summer with the same group of people - plus, get group coaching along the way? 🌟
That's exactly what we're doing with @create_space_co .
It's part workshop series, part creative community - all with the goal of helping you carve out time for yourself and discover what lights you up.
Enrollment is LIVE for the newest cohort, kicking off in June!
Current & past cohort members - sound off in the comments. If someone is on the fence, should they give Create Space a try? 👀

If a stranger walked into the room at the moment I took this picture, they would have felt it immediately.
Calm.
Warm.
Safe.
Kind.
No judgment.
After @hey_erin finished her embroidery demo, the women sat in their circle, worked on the projects, and talked like they’d known each other forever. Listening. Laughing. Caring for each other.
This isn’t something you can manufacture. It’s what happens when people choose to show up.
I’m so grateful they made that choice — and that I get to be there for it.
This is Create Space. 🧵🧡

You don’t have to wait until Mother’s Day to become happy.
You don’t have to wait for someone else to make you happy.
You’re responsible for your own happiness. Not your partner. Not your kids. Not your therapist or your best friend.
YOU.
Since becoming adults, many of us have never paid attention to what actually makes us happy. We’ve been too busy taking care of everyone else. Sure, massages, pedicures, & traveling all create happiness -but what else? What are some everyday/accessible things you can do more routinely?
So here’s what you can do: Experiment. Try things. Notice what activities, what time alone, what small rituals make you feel alive again.
Then schedule them. Protect them. Create the space for them.
That’s what Create Space is for. Nine weeks of trying something new and focusing on YOU.
Spots are limited to 15. A few are still open.
You’ve arrived. You’ve created space. Let’s begin
