For the past 250 years, we haven’t properly listened to the people who have been here for 65,000 years. It’s time we did. Yes makes a better future possible, for all of us. On October 14, we can start a nation-changing idea. We can recognise 65,000 years of Indigenous culture for the first time in Australia’s 122-year-old constitution. We can listen to advice from Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people about matters that affect their lives, so governments make better decisions. We can achieve better results for Indigenous health, education, employment and housing so people have a better life.
Let’s use our voice to Create Yes. With 80% of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander People wanting recognition through a voice, now is the time to show our support, too. On October 14, vote YES. #createyes
