The film itself, developing, scanning, and the experience it takes to shoot it well
For us, it’s something we’ve always loved
It’s how we first learned photography, and something we’ve continued in our personal work for years
We’ve chosen to incorporate it more intentionally into our wedding work
Film is timeless
It’s real
The texture, the softness
It’s not about abundance
It’s about a moment
And honestly, there’s nothing like seeing it come back from the lab
