I barely saw Istanbul. Neither did I put on my fancy outfits (squeezed into two suitcases for four days), nor followed the thoughtfully printed agenda.
Instead I was laughing as never before, crying from happiness, enjoying a home-cooked breakfast and pub-crawling, counting cats and having a blast.
I’ve come to realise how incredibly lucky and happy I am to have such people in my life who make an effort to find time in their hectic adult schedules to spend a weekend together. People are the rarest gift and the greatest luxury 🤍
29 today!
My 28th year was definitely the one to remember — the one to learn from, be proud of and cherish. Shared with my nearest and dearest and savoured in real life.
I spent it celebrating life — both the game-changing milestones and the tiny, seemingly mundane moments that might have gone unnoticed by others.
I’m immensely grateful to everyone who has been pivotal in shaping who I am today.
Let’s see what comes next! To be honest, it’s a little terrifying, but equally intriguing.
P.S. A brief stroll down memory lane at the end of the post to remind us all that getting older can suit us rather well 🤍
