CDSM - Convertible Hearse out now. Take ‘er for a spin. So stoked this thing is finally out in the ether. In October of 2023 CDSM went down to Ben’s family’s cabin in Eastman GA for two weeks to make a record. We swapped every light bulb in the house for a red bulb and wrote/arranged/recorded an entire song everyday. Here’s a bunch of photos and videos from our time down there.
Heading back out with Washed Out. Come see me in my cubicle. Here’s some photos from last go around.

Been playing some shows with Washed Out over the summer. Leaving for a month long tour today. If you would have asked me two years ago I would have probably told you I was done touring. I’ve been attempting to finish Infinite Jest for the second time and I read this quote that really stuck out to me the other day. “Almost nothing important that ever happens to you happens because you engineer it. Destiny has no beeper; destiny always leans trenchcoated out of an alley with some sort of Psst that you usually can’t even hear because you’re in such a rush to or from something important you’ve tried to engineer.” Anyways I think I’m gonna continue to play live music with people. Tour is hard at times but it’s really rewarding too. Blah blah blah Did I just use the word destiny in an Instagram post? Gross. I take it back. COME TO A SHOW IDIOT!
Listen up idiots! Neighbor Lady’s on a 5 1/2 week tour and I made a shirt with all the dates on the back. Real rock ‘n’ roll stuff🤘Yeah yeah yeah it’s wrinkled, like I said we’re on tour. Playing The Broadway in Brooklyn tonight. Come see the live show❤️
*JB ON THE ROAD FALL 2022*
Hitting the road with CDSM today for a 2 1/2 week jaunt out to Texas and up to Canada and then immediately hopping in a van with Neighbor Lady to do a full US tour. Gonna be out for 58 days total so please hit me up if you need any graphic design work done. You’d be helping me out and I’d be helping you out. It’d be a beautiful thing. 🤝 Thanks love y’all bye! 💚
Yesterday we released our second album “For the Birds” into the world. We started recording this record right before the pandemic started but it goes back even further than that. Some of these songs have lived with us since the very beginning of Neighbor Lady. The song Haunting specifically might have been the first song I ever heard of Emily’s. I think we finally got the arrangement right on this one. There are very few things I enjoy more than making music with this group of people. Anyways, I hate the idea of having to sell you on this album in an Instagram post. There are 1440 minutes in a day, please take 37 of them and listen to the album for yourself. 💛
