From TV 📺 screens to real connections ✨
We’re grateful that our CRAFThappening within the CraftWork4All @craftwork4all project funded by Creative Europe was featured on RTP Madeira in “Casa das Artes” (April 30) — you can watch it on RTP Play (RTM Madeira).
But beyond the screen, something even more meaningful happened.
Collaborations turned into real creative bonds — and even friendships 🫶👋
Two artists, two fashion designers, and two jewelry makers came together — including Anita Gabor (Romania) @roodsbya and Diana Quintal (Madeira) @d_backyard — to co-create, experiment, and share their practices.
What started as a one-time event now lives on: the results remain in our ArtHub Madeira / Art Center Caravel @artcentercaravel and will be presented in several international exhibitions.

Craftwork 4.0 All UPDATE

@graficka_mreza (Novi Sad) i 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐚 𝐈𝐬𝐤𝐫𝐚 (Beograd) u okviru međunarodnog projekta @craftwork4all pozivaju umetnike, radnike u kulturi i sve zainteresovane građane da se prijave za besplatnu radionicu posvećenu reciklaži, ručnoj izradi papira i grafičkoj tehnici linoreza.
Radionica 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭 pruža priliku učesnicima da se upoznaju sa procesom nastanka ručno rađenog papira od recikliranih papirnih pulpi i različitih materijala, kao i sa postupkom realizacije visoke štampe – linoreza: od skice i izrade matrice, do finalnog otiska.
Sav materijal za rad je obezbeđen.
✅Trajanje radionice je 4 sata, a učesnici biraju jedan od dva ponuđena termina: 24. maj ili 31. maj. Prijava obavezna do 17. maja ili do popune mesta!

PROVA PÅ METALLPRÄGLING ✨⚒️
Välkommen att prova på metallprägling, en kreativ och avkopplande hantverksteknik där du formar mönster i tunn metall. Under workshopen får du lära dig att skapa relief genom att arbeta från både bak- och framsida med enkla verktyg, och du får även testa patinering för att framhäva ditt motiv.
Workshopen leds av konstnären Erika Sjöberg.

Meet Maxim Kovář, a young product designer from the Czech Republic whose work balances aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. Currently studying at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague, Maxim creates a wide range of design concepts—from modular seating and household accessories to ceramic tiles, glass objects, and upcycled furniture.
He joined the Craftwork4.0All Academy in Sweden to broaden his understanding of craft techniques and explore how traditional skills can support contemporary product design. Curious, open‑minded, and driven by innovation, Maxim uses materials efficiently and experiments with modularity, customization, and 3D printing, while also enjoying hands‑on work with wood and metal.

Запознайте се с Максим Ковар – млад продуктов дизайнер от Чехия, чиято работа съчетава естетика, функционалност и устойчивост. В момента следва във Факултета по архитектура към Чешкия технически университет в Прага и има разнообразно портфолио – от модулни мебели и домашни аксесоари, до керамични плочки, стъклени обекти и ъпсайклинг проекти.
Максим участва в Craftwork4.0All Academy, за да разшири знанията си за традиционните занаяти и да открие как те могат да обогатят съвременния продуктов дизайн. Той работи ефективно с материали, интересува се от персонализация и модулност чрез 3D принтиране и обича да експериментира с дърво и метал.

Το Open Lab “From Idea to Funding” της CUBE, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 17 Μαρτίου 2026 στο WEHub στη Θεσσαλονίκη, στο πλαίσιο του ευρωπαϊκού έργου @craftwork4all , σημείωσε μεγάλη επιτυχία!
Είχαμε την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουμε και να ανταλλάξουμε απόψεις με καλλιτέχνες και επαγγελματίες του πολιτισμού, οι οποίοι έφεραν ενδιαφέρουσες απορίες, νέες οπτικές και δημιουργικές ιδέες. Το Lab εξελίχθηκε σε έναν ζωντανό χώρο ανταλλαγής, πειραματισμού και συνεργασίας — ακριβώς όπως το είχαμε φανταστεί.
Από τις ευκαιρίες χρηματοδότησης και τη διεθνή κινητικότητα μέχρι τη διαμόρφωση καλλιτεχνικών ιδεών σε δομημένα έργα, η ενέργεια της ομάδας ανέδειξε τη δυναμική της δημιουργικής κοινότητας.
Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ σε όλους και όλες που συμμετείχαν και συνέβαλαν σε αυτή την εμπνευσμένη εμπειρία!
