Craftwerk returns! Join us on the 10th of November (weather depending) for an cyanotype workshop with an excuse to rock the pools for algae. It will be held at the Under Cliff Walk Rock Pools just past Brighton Marina.
Inspired and exemplified by the work of Anna Atkins, argued to be the first female photographer who made produced three volumes of ‘Photographs of British Algae: Cyanotype Impressions between 1843 and 1853.

Over the moon to announce two firsts for CRAFTWERK! Our first workshop outside of the UK and our first zero waste event. Next Tuesday evening will be in collaboration with Coffee, Cake and Conversation which is a great weekly event in the city of Campeche, Mexico. It’s an opportunity to socialise and practice your English and we’re very excited to work with them to help provide a crafty twist!
This is an excuse to plug @craftwerrk where most of these were made. The last one will be on the 24th of July, making it a year since we started at @therossibar and one and a half years since it started in my living room. It’s been a ride but we will be back! thanks for all the love xxx
