Chilling outside shirtless and wearing mesh tank tops is all I imagined it would be and more. I am so incredibly fortunate to be able to get gender affirming care at a time when trans people are being used as scapegoats in national politics. I wish I could only celebrate the joyful and beautiful parts of transitioning without worrying about access to gender affirming care and the safety of my trans siblings in our own country, but life is a nightmare! So grateful for all the support I’ve gotten from friends, family, and my whole community, who fed me, cared for me, and cheered me on. I especially have to thank @sarahjungart and @m.e.g.b.e.c.k for coming with me on surgery day, @__seamripper for coming halfway across the damn country to take care of my whiny, cranky post op self, and of course my baby angel @jackthefruit_ for doing all of that and taking better care of me than I could ever think to ask for. I love you all ❤️😭
