is not the question,
for it is,
without us having to
do anything; not
what we hate
we hope
but as we love
to do.
So
we
here
have
choices,
to be as one
or to behave as a part from;
and, even, we’ll see, to be as both at once…
When you see a human
baiting the line
to reel you in
and eat you,
do not listen.
He may claim
to be opposed to
to hate
fear
violence,
but really,
he’s opposed to you observing what he’s doing
without fear,
refusing to wear his shoes
(from his belly)
and simply swimming on your way
unphased.
He may use you
if you do not try
to see through his illusions.
He’s a master at baiting people who love peace
who are kind
who empathize…
just wait,
be wary,
danger’s in the air…
Before the spider bites
foresight
I know the spider might
oh try
to see it carefully
and to
document its mastery
betwixt the sky and me
save the self
oh please
soul seeds….
Every poem title in the first chapter is a name with varying levels of hidden meaning. To find the title I cast my mind out like a fishing fly into the sky and pulled down what I could find. In this case, Icharus Lancelot Joviel, to represent the endless persistence of the cycle of life and death.
It’s here, it’s available, it’s for you. Love is all there is, and that’s what this book is about. That’s what it’s all about.
