Teranga Yearbook 2025 is a continuous celebration of identity, culture, and heritage, woven through every detail and artistic touch. This project embarks on a profound exploration of Senegalese ethnicities, illuminating their essence through the intricate language of accessories, the eloquent expressions of attire, the artistry of makeup, and the aura they exude.
The yearbook goes beyond its physical form; it embodies enlightenment and wisdom, holding the transformative power inherent in knowledge. True empowerment comes through understanding, serving as a guiding light for the resilient spirit of Black African kin.
Many people are unaware of the existence of certain Senegalese ethnic groups and often underestimate their diversity. Teranga Yearbook 2025 not only celebrates Senegalese excellence but also invites you to explore and learn more about the countryâs rich ethnic heritage.
For this second edition, we went beyond visual expression.
In collaboration with
@stylafrique_ , we had the opportunity to use their space, along with objects, clothing, and accessories that represent not only Black Africa as a whole but also the unique identity of each Senegalese ethnic group featured.
This project is both personal and collective, reconnecting with cultural roots and echoing the anthem, âour roots, our land, never yielding,â a mantra of resilience and pride.
