2026 Jason Mraz Still Yours 2026 East Coast Tour, Clearwater, FL 5/16/2026. Great seats, great music, great evening. I’ve been a Jason fan for 20+ years, and I swear he gets better every show I’m fortunate enough to see him. I saw him in 2012 in WPB, 2015 in Melbourne, and 2018 in Orlando. These smaller, intimate venues really just make the shows that much more special.

A few snaps from our Staycation trip this weekend. Since 2022, we’ve taken a yearly trip for our anniversary. Chicago, PNW in Washington, back to back years at Disney for Star Wars weekend. This year has been extremely busy, so we opted to stay locally and try out the Don CeSar Hotel down in St Pete Beach. Dog-friendly (although ours took the weekend at camp) and right on the beach. Sun was shining, margs were had, we ate too much. It was a great, relaxing time.

And that’s a wrap! My fourth long race for the fourth month in a row of the beginning of 2026 has officially been run. January stated with my 1st marathon, February was my 3rd half marathon, March was my 1st official 15k, and April was my 1st official 10-miler. I finished the 10-miler in 1:50:48, which was a PR for my 10 mile distance in and of itself, coming in at just over an 11:00/mile pace. Sara has been extremely patient with this midlife crisis of me trying to prove to myself that my 40s don’t mean anything about my abilities and that I can still do physically hard things, even if I’m a first timer! I came in 154th in my age group out of 1,367 women ages 40-44 (top 11%) and 856th out of 8,691 females overall (top 10%). I’m getting faster as I continue on this most recent fitness obsession of running. Up next: I’m debating between a 70.3 (half Ironman) in Haines City this December, a 29029, trail running, and even considering an Ultra. Out of all that, next will likely be the 70.3, I just need to signup. Running will continue, and I’m hoping to get into a few more Disney runs in the 2027 year!!! Thanks for following along my fitness journey and offering up support. Sometimes in those most difficult days, the encouragement has kept one foot moving in front of the other. Until next time… #rundisney

Happy 4 years as a Washington to our best little dude. He’s settled himself right in and claimed his spot at the Prince of darkness. I love this little guy so much. Happy gotcha day, little dude.

Added 2 today. 1) favorite bird added to my arm. 2) commemoration of my 1st marathon. Original artwork by the tattoo wizard himself @huletttattoo . I couldn’t be happier with how they both turned out. He really brings the vision to life!

I ran my 3rd half marathon today, 27 days after running my 1st full marathon. Today was a massive success. I PRed my half marathon time, coming in at 2:24:37. That’s just shy of 9 minutes faster than my previous PR 27 days ago, and a little over 25 minutes faster than my first half in January 2024. It’s honestly so fun to pick up a new fitness hobby and continue to improve. My right knee was not having a great time around mile 11, but when I saw I was just over 2 hours, I knew this was my chance to come in under 2.5 hours. I’m no where near the fastest, but I’m faster than I was before. Thanks again to Sara, who continues to support this insanity. Next up: my 1st 15k in Jax.

At the end of my 40th year, I checked off one of my biggest life bucket list items: run a marathon. I did it. I freaking did it. I AM A MARATHONER. The first 3 photos were right after I got done. I crossed the finish line and burst into tears. I was so overwhelmed with emotion, then I got a call from Sara. She and my mom came to see me finish. I wasn’t expecting them to be there; I was expecting to meet up after. Cue the continued waterworks. I met up with them, covered in salt because it was hotter than blazes once the sun came up just about halfway through. I PRed both my 10-mile and half marathon times, at 1:57:05 and 2:33:12 respectively. My goal was to come in sometime just under 5 hours 15 minutes and 5 hours 30 minutes. I finished in 5:20:38. Goal achieved. Somehow, i managed to finish in the top 19% of the FEMALE 40-44 age group, finishing 257 out of 1350. I’ll take it. I also finished 3,666 out of 13,291 marathon finishers. Again, I’ll take it. I hit the pain cave early. I told myself to get to 15 miles, then negotiated to 16, then negotiated to 16.2. When I knew I only had 10 left, I allowed myself to walk a bit. That helped the pain subside. Sara has been very patient with me these last 4.5 months. This training has taken over my life, and she continues to allow me (and put up with me) channeling a probable mid-life crisis through endurance sports. I couldn’t ask for a more generous person. Thanks to my mom for joining. Thanks to @_chtcindy_ , @xrizzointhebox , @emiliedeal , @jozykoala , @zackcity914 for the messages during the race and the support through the training. Although I couldn’t respond, I do see them come through, and they were pivotal to keeping me moving forward. Y’all gave me the boost I so desperately needed. Congrats to @trisarahtopsjax on an amazing half marathon and to @ecastleberry3 on completing the Goofy challenge (you’re a maniac). Thanks to @regina.allen and @cindyhjaxaolcom for coming to watch the Mandarin girls runDisney! As a side note, don’t fret. More craziness in on the way. I’m debating the Gate River Run, have the Disney 10-miler in April, am eyeballing my first tri in April-May, and am even contemplating a 70.3. Let’s go!!

Happy (estimated) 8th birthday to the greatest dogter that ever did woo! Rey Skywalker Washington is loved by all who know her. She barks for pets, treats, and door knocks. She woos for fun when prompted while stretching. She never met a treat she didn’t like. Her sweetness is unmatched. We love this baby girl. ❤️🐾
