Since joining CPL Aromas in 2008, Samuel has brought a strong technical mindset to the world of perfumery, combining his background in laboratory work, R&D and cosmetics expertise with a passion for fragrance performance.
He particularly enjoys solving the technical challenges behind fragrance applications and finds great satisfaction in seeing products successfully launch to market.
Samuel is also a strong advocate for sustainability and values the role innovation can play in building a more sustainable future for the industry.

What does fragrance feel like when experienced beyond sight?
Our CPL Aromas India team recently conducted a sensory evaluation study with a visually impaired panel, centred around the power of scent as a standalone sensory experience.
The project was a reminder that fragrance connects people in deeply human ways, through emotion, memory, familiarity and feeling.
By embracing more inclusive approaches to sensory research, we continue learning how to create fragrances that resonate more meaningfully with everyone.

A huge congratulations to Daisy Blaskett, Ellis Hodges, Kellie Ellis, and Chris Pickthall, who took on the challenge of running 26.2 miles. Together, they raised over £35,000 for CAFOD, helping to support communities around the world.

Together with other fragrance houses, we celebrated fragrance as an artistic language, one that evokes emotion, memories, and interpretations beyond what is visible
