inner terrain is finally here — and we are so excited to share it with you! this started as a simple idea between two friends: what if we spent a weekend in the mountains moving our bodies and making things? no pressure, no performance. just trails, creativity, good food, and the kind of conversation that only happens when you’re a little tired and a little far from your normal life. so we built it. and now we’re inviting you to come along. october 1–4 in idaho springs, colorado — four days in a creekside cabin with a small group of people who want to explore their inner (what we call) “athlete-artist”. we’ll run (or hike, or shuffle) through the high country, follow daily creative prompts, eat well, and make some art that may or may not be silly, messy, or inspiring. that’s kind of the point. no portfolio required. no race results needed. just a little curiosity and a willingness to explore. if this sounds like your kind of weekend — we’d love to have you. spots are small on purpose. link in bio to our website for all the details, or just slide into our DMs. can’t wait to meet you out there. 🎨🏃 — courtney & emma

2025 was the year I learned to dream big again. I learned that not every ladder needs to be climbed and you can pivot your career at any time. (sometimes you need a lil boost) my unsolicited advice is to dream bigger than you ever thought you could. try on new things, ideas, identities, passions. find the people that make you feel good inside and keep them. put yourself in positions of opportunity - and by all means grab life by its horns. i am grateful. oh so grateful.

find the things that set your soul on fire and pursue them in a way that makes you and the world around you more joyful. setting the framework for 2026 with words like calm, curious, intentional. it doesn’t always need to be flashy or showy, but it does need to be done in a way that’s true to you. do it in whatever way works for you, not in a way that works for someone else. 💕

who is inner terrain? pt 1 • COURT helloooooo from one half of the inner terrain brain child. the more creatively challenged half (lol) and the half you can find out traipsing around the mountains for most of the week since it’s her job. (?!) when emma and I put together this brain dump of ideas, I imagined a place where someone like me, who is exploring and expanding their creative side, could set some intentional days aside and get into some artistic shizz (crafting, creating, chatting, ideating, WHO KNOWS!). part of who I am as a full time athlete rests on the principal that I am “more than just an athlete”. the reason I can go compete internationally year round at such a a high level comes FROM the days I set aside to foster other parts of me and for the last year or so, watering the “creative seed”, if you will, has made my running career blossom. 🤭 come explore with me in october! my call is to join me in my creative expansion. i don’t have anything figured out really, but i know that i love movement, i love people, and i love creating things. oh and i LOVE being weird!!!!

PINCH ME! 🤏🏻✌🏻 what. a. weekend. 🤭😭 coming away with🥈today in the classic. feeling so thankful to be starting the year with this kind of weekend. i realistically thought top 5 would be the goal for both days but i’m in awe that i came away with back to back podiums. thanks to everyone in my corner- this work is not done in isolation. thanks to the best crew, cheer, and travel mate @alex.otto.m 💕, to my amazzzzing shoes and the reason this is my full time career @brooksrunning , to @openfuel which is literally jet fuel for the legs, and to @mattdaniels480 for working his magic 🪄 and casting spells on my legs to inherit fitness. @wmramountainrun puts on a great show and the chinese people are unmatched in their hospitality. what a cool opportunity to run on ancient history 🇨🇳 with some of the best in the world.
