One of my favorite steps from my own dancing days 🤩🥰 Tip 1: Think of it like a seesaw, as you lower your arm and leg stay connected, pulling in opposite directions to keep your core strong. As you lift back up the leg tries to stay where it is as the body lifts to try meet it.
Tip 2: Keep your eyes, front arm and chin level, one straight line from your gaze to your arm. This dancers penché is already very strong (and she’s doing it in pointe shoes too!)…this is just another way to solidify it even more.
Try out these two tips, you’ll start to find yourself being able to strike the perfect balance…literally!
