Our LSA E90 shop car recently went under the knife again for a completely reworked fuel system. The old setup we were using did not flow anywhere near enough fuel needed for a swap like this, especially given that this car has -8AN fuel lines and huge fore innovations fuel rails with ID1050X injectors.
We custom retrofitted twin walbro 450’s into the stock BMW bucket on the passenger side of the car, fully wired with thick gauge wire, bulkhead connectors, relays, and the whole 9 yards to keep the pumps happy. On the driver’s side, we chose to utilize an Engineering Everything billet top hat which allows for a completely restriction-free system, something we were struggling with the old setup. We also are now running their high flow Venturi system which makes easy work of equaling out the fuel level in the saddle tank, a necessity when running multiple big fuel pumps.
With this new setup, we should easily have enough fuel for 1000+ horsepower, and we’re excited to see what this car will put down on the dyno! (Coming soon)…
Experienced lots of ups and downs this year, major life changes and unexpected events. Without a doubt this has been the craziest year of my life so far, yet I’m excited to see what this next one has in store for me. Lots of big plans. 22.
The LSA E90 is back from fab and running better than ever! We’re 90% complete at this stage, all that’s left is to rework the fuel system a bit and it’s time to get her on the dyno!
Huge thanks to @t2autoworks for the 5” custom intake setup as well as the complete 3” custom exhaust system, utilizing a set of rare Dixis titanium mufflers for 335i!
