The Year of the Black T Shirt - on my 35th birthday I'm looking back at last year, one of the most mercurial and eventful years of my life. At the beginning of the year a comic told me I'd never make it out of Miami, then I did clubs all along the East Coast and the first local comedy show at the Adrienne Arscht Center. A different comic told me I was never funny, then one of my idols pulled me aside and told me he recognized my talent. I lost a vehicle and a beloved pet but I gained meaningful relationships and priceless experiences. I look forward to seeing what happens while I wear black t shirts in my 36th year.
