As Mental Health Awareness Week comes to a close, it feels like a good time to reflect on something close to our hearts at Covesea Links 💙 Over the past three years, our annual Open Competition has proudly raised funds for @samhscotland , supporting the important work they do across Scotland. Golf can be many things. Competitive, very frustrating, rewarding... But it can also simply be a chance to slow down, get outside, clear your head and spend time with good people in beautiful surroundings. Sometimes a walk by the sea, a few swings of a club and a moment like this is exactly what you need. Thank you to everyone who has supported our Open Competition and helped us raise money for such an important cause over the years. ⛳ #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #MHAW2026 #TakeAction #MentalHealthMatters

The PGA Championship gets underway on the today ⛳ Another major week, another excuse to spend four days thinking about golf.... ...but before settling in to watch the world’s best battle it out, why not get a few holes of your own in at Covesea Links? Who are you backing this week? 👇 📷 - @akh_golf

Covesea Links through the lens of @nc.forehundred ⛳ These brilliant images are taken from their recent round at Covesea, capturing everything from the dramatic cliffs and coastline to the unique character that makes the course such a fun place to play. They have shared a full round over on their page, definitely worth checking out if you want a closer look around the course 👀 Make sure to give them a follow 📸

Seeing Covesea through someone else’s lens is always a special thing. A huge thank you to @worlds_okayest_golfer for capturing these stunning images of the course. From the coastline and cliffs to the greens and dunes, it is amazing how differently Covesea can look depending on the day, the weather and the person behind the camera. If you have taken photos during your round, make sure to tag us or send them over. We love sharing your experiences at Covesea Links. There is always another angle, another light and another reason to come back. 📷 - @worlds_okayest_golfer

The 9th hole at Covesea has always been about more than just one final shot and Andy's work here has only made it even more special. Perched beneath the cliffs and framed by the Moray Firth, it is the kind of tee that stays with you long after the round is over. A short par 3 on paper, but one that perfectly captures what Covesea is all about, fun, imagination and memorable golf. Over the past year, Andy has been carefully rebuilding and improving the 9th teeing area to make sure the experience matches the setting around it. The tee has been expanded and reshaped, with new edging and drainage improvements helping create a stronger, more consistent surface throughout the year, all while keeping the natural character of the hole intact. Like every improvement around the course, the aim has never been to change Covesea. It is about enhancing what is already here and making sure the course continues to leave a lasting impression on everyone who makes the journey down that winding wee road.

Take a little look at the new 6th Tee! 🏌️‍♂️ Over the past 12 months, Andy has been steadily reshaping different areas of the course and the 6th tee is another brilliant example of his work in action. This tee has been expanded, rebuilt and carefully refined to sit more naturally within the landscape, while making the most of one of the best views on the course. From up here, you really get a sense of what Covesea is all about... the coastline, the dunes and the route ahead. It is not just about the view though. A new border has been added along the edge of the tee, helping improve drainage and playability right through the year. It is a small detail, but one that makes a big difference over time. The result is a teeing area that feels more complete, more consistent underfoot, and more in keeping with the natural flow of the course. Another thoughtful improvement and another step in continuing to evolve Covesea Links.

Have you got Bank Holiday plans? ⛳ With the May Day bank holiday incoming, there’s still time to make the most of your day off. Why not head out for a quick 9 at Covesea Links, fresh air, coastal views and just the right amount of golf to start the day. No rush, no pressure, just a good walk and a few (hopefully) good strikes.

Some of our favourite golf reads 📚⛳ We are lucky that Covesea Links has been featured by writers we genuinely admire, including Tom Coyne, Jim Hartsell and Robin Down. Each of them captures something different about the game, the places and the people behind it and it is always special to see Covesea become part of those stories. If you have read any of these let us know your favourite or any others we need to read 👇
