I turned 36 surrounded by love.
I’m blessed to have so many people in my life, and I try reallyyyy hard to not take that for granted.
I’m reaaallly the birthday 🎂
All I did was eat good food and do fun things with people I love.

My friends and I partnered with a local family shelter to throw a holiday party, and honestly, words and photos still do not feel like enough to capture what this meant to me.
With all of the donations, every child received toys straight from their own wish list. We were able to gift parents as well, offer professional family photos, and even share my grandma’s banana pudding (shoutout to my grandma!). We also gave out haircuts, made bracelets, and sang karaoke together.
I also took a chance and emailed @kennedyryan1 , and she graciously sent books for the families, which was such a beautiful surprise and reminder of how kindness travels.
We are not an organization. We are not clout chasers. It is truly just my friends and I trying to do some good in the place we live, with the people around us. Thank you to EVERYONE that helped.
This experience reminded me that how you feel about your community determines how you treat your community. We HAVE to take care of each other, there really are no other options. God is good!
