learned to forage and create with wild clay in rural countryside france at @casa.julfa . ended my wonderful residency with a wood firing in @corinne.aivazian kiln she built herself. departed this residency feeling closer to the earth, understanding more sustainable and ancestral ways in ceramic building, and embracing more of my witchy side in myself that i always dreamt of feeling when i first watched miyazaki’s kiki’s delivery service in my early childhood. i’ll be carrying all this wisdom for the rest of my life. thank you corinne, ano and ari for the most perfect firing day - i will always cherish.

kettles yard day trip from london last summer - lived up to all my expectations and beyond. the light switches were my favorite bits and pots by lucie rie. a peaceful quiet little pocket of cambridge.
leaving in a week to head to my next residency in europe. doing research on ideas for upcoming work and got me reminiscing on my day trip to the charleston bloomsbury group studio and home in the UK last year. this place is nothing short of remarkable.
my 2026 focus is cultivating and seizing moments of joy. new year of healing, moving & syncing with my body again. the only list i have out is my bucket list - ignoring my “to dos” : } life is too short to miss out on all the tender things.
happy year of the fire horse - to more passion, sweat n tears, tai chi, creating with clay and most importantly… continued kindness.
