Beltane felt like a remembering 🌸✨ A remembering that play is sacred. That laughter is medicine. That adornment can be prayer. That friendship, flowers, oils, movement, and joy can bring us back into the body. At this beautiful Beltane gathering, my girlfriend @skycowans and I made flower crowns, adorned each other with oil, ran around the May Pole laughing, and let ourselves be held by the newness of life. I also created a special henna prayer on myself: the Protea King flower. To me, this flower became a prayer for the strength of my spine. A reminder to stand tall in my truth. To crown myself with courage. To remember that my body is not just something I live in — it is a temple, a canvas, a storyteller, and a place where healing can bloom. This is the power of Somatic Art Therapy. It’s not just about making something beautiful. It’s about feeling beauty in the body again. It’s about choosing presence. It’s about returning to play, prayer, and the aliveness within us. May we remember the crown we carry. May we remember the joy that heals. How Art Empowers a Story Amanda came to us after a several attempts to find the artist to make her Crown of Courage. Every corner she turned, she was met with " too hard to make"... until she met CraftyFingas. We enjoy a challenge! And with enough time, we can turn dreams into reality.
