📣 Join us tonight for the opening reception of 'County: The Way Home' by @julieseddonpaintings , in our County Arts Exhibition Vitrines! In 'County: The Way Home,' painter Julie Seddon presents two aspects of her art-making practice: the photograph that captures a moment where the natural and human made world co-exist in a reflection on glass, and her painted interpretation of that image with its further abstraction and expression. By painting these glimpses of visual alignment, Julie celebrates the visual excitement of unexpected moments, and the images point to the coexistence of both the human-made and the natural world. Opening Reception: Friday May 8th, 2026, 6-8 PM Exhibition: May 8th – June 17th, 2026 Join us to celebrate tonight! ✨ About the Vitrines: Housed in two custom-made display cases, this new series increases the public visibility of artwork year-round while creating paid opportunities for artists. Located in the Armoury Atrium outside the County Arts Lab, the vitrines feature rotating exhibitions by County artists working across a range of mediums. This program is made possible thanks to a multi-year donation to the Artist Fund.
