Hi there.
We’re Couch Potato Massacre, and we thought we’d introduce ourselves to Fellow FEST goers who might be checking us out for the first time.
CPM is a 4 Pc. Pop Punk Band out of Minneapolis, MN. Our sound is usually described as RamonesCore, but astute listeners will hear shades of Alkaline Trio, Chixdiggit, Groovie Ghoulies, and Masked Intruder as well.
We rip short little songs about Movies, TV Shows, and Video Games. Some of our favorites are Army Of Darkness, Scrubs, and Mortal Kombat. We also enjoy stand-up comedy and wrestling. You can see why we’ve been going to FEST for years. Anyway... This is our first time playing and we wanted to say thanks for visiting us.
Check us out on Spotify. We appreciate the fraction of a penny un-ironically. And then, most importantly... check out our set at FEST. Saturday at Vecino’s. Put us on your list (you know you have one) and then look for us on the app when it comes out because we don’t know our time slot yet. We will be practicing our hi-fives and our eye contact for the next 4 months. Some of us are socially awkward, but we’d love to sell you a very cheap t-shirt or give you free stickers and buttons.
See you October!
KT, Lewis, Matt, and PopEye

Minneapolis-based band Couch Potato Massacre creates punk music inspired by movies, TV shows, and personal experiences. With over 100 songs in their catalog, Paul writes lyrics rapidly—often within 20 minutes—while the band performs high-energy shows.
They’re currently getting set to record new songs and planning some shows for the summer. Their next album MIGHT feature an 1980s theme, and there could even be whispers of a concept album. The band has long attended Fest and they talk about past visits to Gainesville.
In particular, Paul’s Fest 23 was memorable despite a dog bite injury in August, including a surprise performance with Dollar Signs. The band balances their lighthearted project with Paul’s involvement in two other bands exploring darker themes.
You can find their new single on Bandcamp and streaming platforms.
