To our customers and community, it is no secret that the hospitality industry is currently under immense economic pressure and sadly, this will continue in 2026.
The harsh reality of significant increases to ingredients, rent and utilities alone means that we will see thousands of businesses closing across the country.
We have been incredibly fortunate over the last year to be able to move our production kitchen to include a third business, the main reason behind this being that it will allow us the space to grow our offering and sustain the challenges the industry is facing. Even with our new venue in Tradeston however, it is still extremely difficult to constantly adjust and adapt in order to be a profitable business.
To keep producing the products we know you love at the standard of our company, unfortunately we need to increase our prices. We want you to know that every effort has been made to raise these prices by as little a percentage as possible and that every product you buy, down to the jam with your scone, is hand made by us with local ingredients.
We hope you can understand and continue to support local businesses if you can. In return, we will continue to work exceptionally hard to bring you new and exciting products, experiences and events this year. And if it isnโt too much to ask, please be kind to servers and staff in hospitality at this time, none of these difficult decisions are made by them.
