This week, we had the pleasure of hosting students from five local schools at the Will Power Festival, where they collaborated on a performance of Twelfth Night at the Roe Green Theatre, with each school tackling one act. They visited the newly renovated Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre, enjoyed lunch in the Shakespeare Gardens, learned about the upcoming production's design, and showcased their own imaginative takes on Twelfth Night. Huge thanks to the teachers for their support, the brave students for taking the stage, and all the staff and volunteers who made it possible, plus a shout-out to the snowstorm for waiting until the Will Power Festival was over!

You're never too young to learn about The Bard.
During Shakespeare's Sprites, our campers ages 6-9 get exposed to the fun of Shakespeare through silly pool noodle swordfighting, storybook snack hour, arts and crafts, songs, and lively scene work that allows them to explore the actor within.
Registration is still live — register now and gift your child with the love of Shakespeare! /orgs/ColoradoShakespeareFestival?
Our Shakespeare & Violence Prevention program wrapped up last week with one final performance of Hamlet. Special thanks to our incredible team of actors, @boulderlibrary for hosting the event, our panelists from @cspv_cuboulder and @cutheatredance , and @boulderbookstore for being onsite with Dr. Amanda Giguere's new book about Shakespeare & Violence Prevention. Over the last 7 months, this series reached more than 7,000 Colorado students, introducing them to the power of live theatre, and translating violence prevention research into practical strategies. We are continually inspired by the overlaps between Shakespeare's plays and contemporary violence prevention research. Here's to building healthier, more connected communities through the arts and humanities! #AppliedShakespeare #violenceprevention

Just over a week ago, Beverly and Amanda traveled to London to connect with partners advancing innovative approaches to violence prevention through arts, education, and community collaboration.
We were honored to learn from @the_globe and @londonvru where a shared commitment to early intervention, youth voice, and community-driven solutions emerged.
We were especially inspired to see how young people’s voices have shaped this work and how the arts can create space for reflection, healing, and new possibilities.

Introducing our Puppy Cast for the season!! 🐾 🎭
Meet Bernie & Pippin 🤩 ♥️
Bernie (Owner Tony Milazzo) 🦴
A confident Wire Fox Terrier with a full bag of tricks, Bernie wowed the CSF team with spins, leaps and an easygoing charm around people. You might also recognize him from the Sundown Saloon on Pearl Street, where he’s a familiar face among Tony’s many friends and regulars.
Pippin (Owner Kim Howell) 🐾
Pippin, named after the musical, is a mini poodle mix with a big personality and zero stage fright. Comfortable off-leash and eager to engage, Pippin impressed with a wide range of tricks and a fast-learning energy.
