Honoring Trans History Week by celebrating the life and legacy of the late Erica Andrews. ✨
A fearless performer, activist, and icon, Erica transformed drag into a powerful form of advocacy, bringing visibility, joy, and community to trans people in San Antonio and far beyond. Her legacy continues to inspire generations to live openly, boldly, and authentically.
This week, we honor the unapologetic trailblazers who paved the way and celebrate the resilience and power of trans communities. 🏳️⚧️
Real support means real opportunity. The Ready to Work Program is about minimizing inequity, expanding access, and giving people the tools to chart their own path. I will continue to stand behind solutions that invest in people and strengthen our community from the ground up.
Thank you to the Latina Leadership Institute for inviting me to speak with the current cohort. It was a true full-circle moment; it was my time in LLI Class 5 that inspired me even more to run for office. I’m happy to share my journey, but even more for the chance to listen and learn from the voices in the room.
Conversations like these remind us that strong leadership starts with listening, collaboration, and creating space for others to be heard. 🤝
We're recognizing the power of pedals! Join us for a special celebration in honor of National Bike Month as we celebrate efforts that make our community safer. 🚲
The District 1 Rain to Drain tour at the SAWS H2Oaks Center gave our staff and residents insight into the importance of investing in reliable, sustainable water resources for San Antonio. The facility is properly equipped for the desalination process of removing salt while reintroducing essential minerals to protect pipes, equipment, and long-term water quality.
Thank you to SAWS for welcoming us and sharing the innovative efforts helping secure our city’s water future! 💧
This weekend, I had the opportunity to speak with residents at the River Walk Public Input Meeting, support students at the Municipal Court’s Teen Court mock trial competition, learn more about sustainability initiatives during the SAWS Rain to Drain tour, cheer on participants at VFW Post 76’s “Strive for Hope” Fun Run, celebrate culture and community at ARCSA’s Asian Festival, and deliver Mother’s Day flowers to families at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan’s NICU.
I’m grateful for every opportunity to listen, learn, and celebrate the people who make San Antonio so special. 💜
Spreading a little blooming joy in the Methodist Hospital Metropolitan NICU today. Happy Mother’s Day to all the superhero moms! 🌷
Drop a 💜 to send some extra strength to these NICU families today!

This week, we’re celebrating the educators who show up every day with patience, passion, and purpose. Our office staff visited District 1 schools to deliver a sweet treat! 🍎✨
To every teacher: thank you for the long hours, the encouragement, and the lasting impact you make far beyond the classroom. Our community is stronger because of you. ❤️📚
Great collaboration starts with meaningful conversations. Thank you to @lovinsa210 for hosting an important panel as the LOVIN CCR moves toward discussion across our council committees. I look forward to continued engagement in the community as we work toward truly caring for all of our neighbors! 💜
San Antonio’s future is on stage. 🎭
