I wrote this last year for Mother’s Day and someone asked me to repost it this year…so here you go. Love you Mom. Every egg a woman carries, she is born with. What that means is the seed of you, of me, of us, was always with them. We were there for every triumph and trauma, every pain and pleasure, every sadness and smile, hope and heartbreak, fear and freedom. Every moment, every step, every love and loss. We were with her from the womb to the world. And just like us, she was with her mother and her mother was with hers before that. It’s like looking in opposing mirrors, reflecting forward and backwards in time without end. Mothers are more than care givers and wives and warriors and badass business women and every other form they take in the world. They are the sacred vessel of life. While Mother’s Day in our culture has taken on the Hallmark facade, it isn’t new. And frankly, why should that matter? Every day of life in its totality is Mother’s Day. To celebrate mothers is to celebrate not just humanity, but consciousness and life itself. Dear Mom, I was with you from the beginning and no matter where life takes us, I’m with you until the end. I apologize for any torment or torture I may have caused. I ask forgiveness for the words that cut. What I meant to say is that I love you. There is no pain I can’t look past. No stone I can’t see through. And even when I might not understand, there is no mystery I cannot marvel at. You are shocking. You are stunning. You are beautiful. I honor you. Im in awe. I’m grateful and I lay myself at your feet. Thank you. I love you. All ways. Always.

Timepieces That Invite Travel The Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points series unites four distinct expressions of exploration. Each titanium watch, with its unique dial colour – green, brown, white, or blue – is an invitation to discover new horizons by all ways possible. As explorer Cory Richards comments: "To wear one of the cardinal points feels very much as if I've stepped deeper into an exploration with Vacheron Constantin, if that makes any sense. And it also becomes a reminder of a continued desire to uncover and explore." #VacheronConstantin #OneOfNotMany

The Infinite Loop of Curiosity The Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points in verdant green mirrors the deep forests and tropical jungles of the West. Its textured dial, featuring a grained centre and snailed date counter, offers both depth and clarity, designed for legibility amidst exploration. The vibrant orange hands indicating the second time zone and AM/PM function bring a dash of contrast, underlining its sporty character. This timepiece embodies a philosophy of continuous discovery. As photographer and explorer Cory Richards reflects: "Curiosity is a way of being that just wants to know more. There's no end to it. And I think it's more playful, more fun." A call to embrace the world with an open spirit. #VacheronConstantin #OneOfNotMany

A Boundless Spirit of Exploration A journey to the Eastern horizon unfolds with the Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points in deep blue. This dial, where ocean and sky converge, reflects a boundless spirit of exploration. The timepiece's distinctive aesthetic is heightened by a matte anthracite grey finish on the bezel, crown, and pusher ring. The Calibre 5110 DT/3 allows for effortless adjustment of the two time zones by simply turning the crown, a precise instrument for those whose paths lead them towards new dawns and distant shores. #VacheronConstantin #OneOfNotMany

Forged in lightweight yet robust titanium, its 41mm case and interchangeable bracelet offer resilience and comfort in extreme conditions. Within, the manufacture Calibre 5110 DT/3 precisely indicates a second time zone with an arrow-tipped orange hand, coupled with a day/night indicator – a crucial link for those far from home.
