The all out attack on all our collective data is insane. Our messages to each other, our slacks, our photos, our paintings, our Spotify playlists, our search histories, any data we create is being used to train AI and then deploy those AI as API into every application we use...harvesting even more data. I'm not afraid of AI...I reject it. It goes against everything I enjoy about making art or writing. I'm the dude that draws every board in a fence because I LIKE IT. That's where I find the charm, the character. I certainly don't want ANYTHING that would do that for me. Who wants a self solving puzzle??

Fantastic article by Gary Marcus and Reid Southern concerning DALLE-3 and two word prompts that return copyrighted characters. Look at this "intelligence" and its ability to "create". An eye opening article for those believers who still think that generative AI is anything more than a pixel predictor with a database filled with stolen/unlicensed/copyrighted images without the owner's consent or knowledge.

An anniversary is always special, but its rare to share two anniversaries on the same day. Alena and I celebrated our anniversary on the same day that Disney turned 100. We met each other while working at Disney and Disney is a part of our lives every day. I tried to find some photos.
