Cory Binks had everything the world says should make you happy. Status. Money. Championships. But he woke up one day and asked the question that changes everything: "Now what?"
When COVID hit the pause button on the world, Cory hit "play" on his faith. He went from the poker tables to youth ministry, but then God threw a curveball: He called him back to Las Vegas. 🎰
It made zero sense. "God, I don't even play poker anymore. Why Vegas?"
But Cory obeyed. He leaned not on his own understanding (Prov 3:5), and on the other side of that obedience, God unlocked a gift he didn't even know he had: Music. 🎤

Some of you have tried everything else…
Money. Relationships. Drugs. Gambling. The list goes on.
But be real, do any of those things actually heal you?!?!
1. When you experience loss: sometimes God allows you to lose things you care about deeply… a relationship, an opportunity, or a dream. In those moments, He’s testing if you’ll still trust Him when life hurts. Job lost almost everything, but he still CHOSE to worship God!
2. When prayers feel unanswered: there are seasons where you pray and it feels like God is silent. The answer takes longer than expected, or doesn’t come how you wanted. Those moments test whether you’ll keep trusting Him even when you don’t understand.
3. When you face temptation: when compromise is right in front of you, God wants to see if you’ll stay obedient. Joseph ran from temptation because HONORING GOD MATTERED MORE than giving in!
4. When everything feels uncertain: sometimes faith is tested when you don’t know what’s next. Abraham had to follow God without seeing the full picture first. A lot of times, we have to do the same.
Getting tested isn’t easy… but that’s often where your faith grows the most. STAY CLOSE to God through it ALL!
Feeling extra grateful for my Ma today 🥹 She’s been such a pillar of love in my life, forever, and I cherish every moment like these I get to spend with her. Lord willing there will be MANY more! 🙏🏻
