SATURDAY, April 11th
CMC shows run on community β and that means you! Whether you're a longtime regular or just getting to know us, this volunteer training is your invitation to get behind the scenes and help make shows happen.
We'll walk through how our events work from load-in to lockup, cover what makes a CMC show a CMC show (all-ages, artist-first, no one turned away for lack of funds), and do hands-on training for each of our volunteer positions β including a mock show with real scenarios.
Roles covered:
Host β The heart of the show. You'll welcome bands into the space, keep things running on time, and be the MC for the night.
Sound β Get hands-on with our PA system and learn to run sound checks and mix live sets.
Door β First face people see. You'll welcome show-goers, take donations, and embody the "be cool" spirit that makes CMC shows feel the way they do.
Merch β Help bands set up and manage their merch and handle sales for CMC.
No experience necessary! Just bring your enthusiasm and we'll handle the rest.
