Made some parts for UCLA. Some sort of science thing. 316 stainless steel turns much better than it mills ( at least for this job) Quality control manager (from the first photo) was ok with the quality. Modified parts for a porsche (bottom). Drilled the hardened steel part, thread milled it, then turned down a stainless steel shoulder bolt to accept a speedometer gear like the part at the top. #porsche #porsche911 #machining #machinist
Designed and made this thing for @radiantimages . I think they are going to put a bunch of red cameras on it to capture 360 video. It had to be as light as possible and provide enough angle adjustment for the cameras. Made this panel for a client. The new machine @shopsabre makes making reeded panels super easy. I would have used plywood to prevent the loss of vacuum but even with mdf i still worked. #cnc #woodworker
