Moonfloweršš
My first lyrical piece with the ālittlesā, and I think I learned more from them than they did from me.
They showed me the true meaning of this song in a season I needed it most. That childlike dependence isnāt weakness itās a real, God-given strength. When life feels scary and overwhelming, weāre not left in the dark. Heās right there, gently calling us to lean on Him, even when we donāt understand.
And when you look back on those harder seasons, you start to see it⦠how they drew you closer to Him in a deeper, sweeter way than the light ever could. Just like the moonflowers.
So grateful for @labelle_performing_arts & the opportunity to teach such sweet dancersš«¶š¼
Happy Resurrection Sunday š¤
Resharing this from @dust.2life from a few years ago.
The story of the women going to the tomb in the early morning only to find it empty, has always felt so special to me. The sorrow and heaviness they must have carried on their way there followed by the sudden shift to joy and hope when they arrived. Such a sweet picture of the transformation we experience through Jesus and the new life weāre given through His resurrection.
Grateful to have danced this with two of my fav dancers, and sisters in Christ! @gracynphelps & @baylencrance š«¶š¼

āI prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.ā - 1 Samuel 1:27-28š¤š§ø

I canāt fully put into words my gratitude for everyone involvedāthe time, heart, and energy poured into this production, along with the continued support through donations, prop help, backstage help, and of course our incredible audience. None of this would be possible without you. This journey has been such a gift, and it truly feels like this is only the beginning for Dust. Praise God for His Son and for a reason to celebrate this Christmas and every day afterš«¶š¼
I could have never imagined growing up as a dancer that one day I would be producing and directing my own show. Iām beyond grateful that God has allowed me to be a small instrument in His plan and to use my gifts to create Made New ā a production sharing the story from Genesis to the birth of Jesus.
Being able to create and choreograph on such talented dancers @labelle_performing_arts has been such a blessing. They have truly brought this story to lifeš„¹
