Wish I could do the same.
Sometimes.
But where even is “away”?

NAWA BLUE, 50x75cm photo fine art print on metal: 📸: @corosteck performance in photo: @sahardamoni EXHIBITION UPDATE 26
April 25 — May 17, 2026
Opening: Friday, April 24, 2026
UPDATE unfolds within a remarkable moment: the @verein_berliner_kuenstler marks its 185th anniversary — a legacy that resonates across past, present, and future.
Conceived as both a reflection of the now and a gesture toward what lies ahead, UPDATE brings together a wide spectrum of contemporary artistic practices. Free from any curatorial constraints, the exhibition creates space for direct encounters between distinct voices, media, and forms of expression.
What emerges is a vibrant, multi-layered constellation — an open field of dialogue that reveals the breadth of the VBK and invites audiences to engage with art in its immediate, ever-evolving presence.
Featuring works by more than 80 artists.

TURBULENZEN. The world is slipping out of balance—geopolitically, ecologically, and culturally. Our future feels uncertain, familiar values are being questioned, and we are forced to redefine our identities.
Against this backdrop, the exhibition takes shape. Diverse artistic positions are interwoven through installation, intentionally holding contrasting perspectives side by side.
The result is an immersive whole that captures a fleeting moment of fragile balance in a world coming apart—a tipping point of identity.

CORINNA ROSTECK @corosteck
After some time since our last feature, we are delighted to share a new sequence from Corinna Rosteck’s ongoing project INSERT SKIN, as part of the artists selected within Arttyco’s curated community.
In INSERT SKIN, the performer’s body enters into dialogue with light and projection. Fragments of gaze dissolve and reassemble. Presence and absence, pain and pleasure, remembering and forgetting unfold simultaneously. The body appears, disappears, and returns — a living archive in which beauty becomes a question of embodied knowledge and self-assertion.
Rosteck’s photographic research traces biographical paths, revealing ruptures and making absences visible. Memory and place converge into collective spaces of experience, unfolding into a painterly form of self-representation suspended between disclosure and fiction.
