Reflecting on when I really got serious about the gym and my nutrition for the first time in my life. I spent a full year of monitoring nutrition, training intensely, absorbing all the information I could to really take my body and mind in a different direction.
Years later I now see a journey laid out in the fitness spectrum having just finished my NASM certification.
The left photo is from one year ago and the photo on the right is from this morning. While some people have said I didn't look that bad in the photo on the left, I still had serious issues with self-esteem and confidence. I always struggled with those things, and I never liked the way I looked. Finally, one year ago I decided to stop telling myself I would look better and actually did something about it. I looked into the proper way to workout and eat to achieve the physique I always wanted. I added supplements to aid in my journey and give me the boost I needed. While I had been someone who exercised since I arrived at college, I really fell in love with fitness and my health in the last year. Being hired to work for @mountaineernutrition really motivated me to be at my best and use the right supplements to achieve my goals. Sure some days are hard but the results I've seen have motivated me to keep going. I feel better overall not only from eating better food but my body's movements are smoother. I feel more confident and just feel better. I don't plan on stopping here, I want to be stronger, bigger, and mentally at my best. I couldn't have done it without the support of friends and family and I thank you all for the support.

Excited to start cutting again. Not the full stack but #performix has a special place in my heart for being the best supplements I've taken. #performixdriven #performixssti
6 months of eating well and training hard has really paid off. For the first time in my life I'm comfortable with the way my body looks and I feel better overall.
P.S. Yes, I shaved my torso
