Cornwall Youth Council has held its first formal vote to elect Cornwallâs Members of Youth Parliament.
11 young people stood for election, sharing speeches on how they would represent and champion young peopleâs voices at a national level.
Following the vote, Zoe, Molly and Rose were elected as Cornwallâs new MYPs. Congratulations to them all.

Cornwall Youth Councilâs newly elected members have met for the first time to begin planning their campaigns for the next two years.
More than 13,500 young people took part in the recent elections, highlighting key priorities including transport, mental health, inclusion, and access to leisure activities and opportunities.
The group will now develop these into campaigns to help shape a better future for young people in Cornwall.
