Enjoying my airport beer now as I wait for my flight back home after spending 10 days in Tahoe with my boy @theboychinwonder594 . I have wanted to visit these boulders for years and years, safe to say they satisfied my appetite. It was an epic return to california for me after so many years, featuring snacky crimps, cold water, lots of laughs, creamy rock, insane views, and elevation. Sometimes I miss living out west, but for now I am looking forward to the next trip â hopefully when there is a little less snow!
The third annual weeklong Hueco rock trip is now complete. Huge burns, sun, steak, eggs, and laughs abounded. It was a privilege to be accompanied by a crew of straight Gz in such a beautiful and iconic place. Hueco just gets better and better each time. Back to cold New Hampshire for now. Sad news from NWCT this weekend. Looks like the start hold of Slice is breaking away from the glue and is getting ready to rip off the wall. The flake was flexing quite a bit during attempts today. I never had the pleasure of meeting the late great Phil Schaal, but I have been enjoying climbing on the boulders that he left behind. Even in June. Its weird and cool and funny to follow in the footsteps of others whose names youâve always heard in your home state. If there is one thing that climbing has taught me that would be respect. Especially when it comes to those that paved the trail that Iâm walking on today. Either way this boulder is classy AF. âTest of the Westâ V7

We really canât complain about the spring weather this year. So far its been blissful. Today was another amazingly beautiful day up at the #gunks with @pedrodomus@thee.mightymouse@crimpin_aint_eazy and @liamisprettycool .
