Back in the early days the #seabuckthorn project evolved from a handful of experimental trees in my parents garden to me planting our own #orchards with thousands of trees.
At that point I decided we needed a logo and I thought I’d have a crack at doing it myself… “it couldn’t be that hard could it?” The above picture was my attempt!
Thankfully I quickly realised that my E-grade in GCSE art didn’t quite cut it so I enlisted the help of a professional and the rest is history as they say.

The Cornish Seaberry Company was recently defrauded out of a significant amount of money by #scammers
I consider myself to be a savvy & cynical farmer and never thought I’d fall for such things #itllneverhappentome
But the script was so polished, sophisticated and convincing that I was duped into believing it.
If we had lost the money altogether that probably would have been the end of the Cornish Seaberry Company, but thankfully the fraud squad @starlingbank were able to recover the funds.
I can’t believe I was so daft to be #scammed and naturally I’m embarrassed by it all 😳, but that’s what they rely on.
So even if just one person sees this post and hangs up on these low-life parasites then it’ll all be worthwhile.
