Sunday is already a strong contender for my favourite day of the week but yesterday was a stand out above the rest.
@annabellelouisee_ and I headed to @colonial_tolcarnebeach down at @tolcarnebeachvillage for their first Sunday Session of the summer and it was HEAVENLY.
We went together a few years back and had the steak fritz and 1/2 lobster so we thought we’d give the butcher’s board a try this time and it was sublime.
@bowriverbanduk set the mood perfectly, playing some country classics and it was a fairly high tide which meant we had a good view of the surfers too.
The @connieglazevodka passionfruit spritz was 👌🏻

@cafe_uneeka providing the sunshine on a grey day in Kernow.
Hol and I went and tried the new menu this afternoon and wow.
Firstly, the drinks were so good. I had the sparkling peach and passionfruit cooler and Hol had a raspberry iced tea.
To eat, we shared the cheesy bacon toastie and the Uneeka board (think homemade hummus, pesto and warm sourdough pitta as well as lots of other lovely bits).
With full bellies, we then mooched around the shop and got stocked up on gorgeous cards, @stevalcandles and a few other trinkets.

What a gorgeous day on the north coast!
We headed to Mother Ivey’s for a dip but the wind was not on our side so we doubled back and swam at Booby’s instead.
Then we headed to @the_pig_hotels for the afternoon!
Lauren and Stu taught me a new card game: Egyptian Ratscrew. It was absolutely hilarious and I totally recommend giving it a whirl next time you’re playing cards.
Finally, we headed to @thelobstershed for lunch!
PS: how beautiful are these flowers from @koselheart_flowers ?! It’s Lauren’s birthday in a few days so I had to get her a bunch!
Last night was just lovely!
I was finally reunited with @pollyinparadise after what felt like an eternity and it was just the most wholesome evening.
We had a gorgeous @escape.to.the.sauna sauna and swim then headed to @theworkingboat for dinner and drinks.
When we were driving to Bellever Forest on Sunday, we saw loads of Dartmoor ponies and the most gorgeous baby so we parked up nearby and spent about 10/15 minutes watching them from afar and it honestly made me so happy.
It was the cutest little thing, all legs!
Also, who else absolutely loves driving the roads in and around Dartmoor?!
We spent Saturday sunbathing by the River Dart and eventually braved a dip. We both said it was one of our favourite days of the year so far!

I believe the closest car park is Newbridge Car Park but that one was full so we found another one a little walk away.
Hollie and I crossed the border into Devon for the most gorgeously slow weekend and it was just BLISS.
We stayed at @wilderhus after seeing @storky_adventures ’ stay there recently and thinking it looked really cool. I’m so glad we did, it was epic!
I love exploring Dartmoor and it was so nice to have the whole weekend to enjoy it and boy were we lucky with the weather!
Just like that, the Easter holidays draw to a close. What a wonderful time I’ve had, both in and outside of Cornwall.
I feel very lucky to love my job and always look forward to seeing my class and colleagues after a holiday.
The forecast for the coming week is also putting a spring in my step (see what I did there).
