Mud + Teamwork = £1,600 raised for Cancer Research UK!
A HUGE well done to our team, Brine to Finish Line, who took on the Pretty Muddy Race for Life at Stithians Showground on Saturday. The atmosphere was #electric and the team powered through the mud, supporting each other every step of the way.
Thank you to everyone who donated and showed their support – an incredible effort for such an important cause.
You did us proud 💗

One of the most inspiring evenings of the year in Cornwall 🌟
Last night, we joined Young and Talented Cornwall to celebrate the incredible All Talent and Spirit of Trevithick award recipients, with certificates presented by the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall at St Austell Brewery.
As a proud long‑term sponsor, our CEO Jamie Airnes had the honour of attending the event. Huge congratulations to all 46 grant recipients – from dance to mining engineering, the breadth of talent on display was incredible. We can’t wait to see what you go on to achieve next!
We’re incredibly fortunate in Cornwall to have such a wealth of emerging talent, and Young & Talented Cornwall helps ensure that these individuals have the support and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.

Engaging with Cornwall’s younger generation is essential for the future of our industry, and the best way to inspire the next wave of talent? Meet them where they are. 💡
That’s why earlier this month we were delighted to bring our Statutory Consultation pop‑up event to the to STEM and Health Skills Centre in partnership with @callywithcollege . The session invited students to view our plans and project timelines for the Trelavour Lithium Project, learn about career pathways and future job opportunities, and explore the vital role of lithium in green technology.
It was also a chance for them to engage with our ongoing Statutory Consultation: viewing the materials, providing their thoughts, and taking away feedback forms to fill in. Every voice will help to shape the project, and we want to make sure the younger voices are heard.
Thank you to the college for hosting us, and to all the students who stopped by to chat, ask questions, and share their ideas.

Today, we’re highlighting an initiative we are delighted to continue supporting as the foundational sponsor for another year: The Cornwall Heritage Trust School Transport Grants Scheme.
Rising transport costs mean many primary schools are finding it increasingly difficult to fund educational trips; experiences that can spark curiosity, inspire learning, and help children connect with Cornwall’s unique history.
We’re pleased to help make these valuable opportunities possible for primary pupils across Cornwall.
Learn more about the scheme and the difference it’s making on the latest blog on our website (link in our bio!)

“What do you want to be when you grow up?”
That was the big question for pupils at St Dennis Primary Academy during their recent Aspirations Day, which brought together a fantastic group of local businesses to showcase a range of possible future careers – including ours!
It was wonderful to highlight the huge variety of roles available right on their doorstep at Cornish Lithium. From geologists, lab technicians and data scientists to environmental and sustainability specialists, multi‑skilled engineers, process technicians and maintenance operators, our industry offers a broad and diverse range of career opportunities.
Interactions like this are so important; sometimes all it takes is one conversation to spark inspiration that can last a lifetime.
Thank you St Dennis Primary Academy for inviting us to be part of such an inspiring day. 🌟

Gool Peran Lowen / Happy St Piran’s Day!
Today is the day we celebrate all things Cornish by honouring St Piran, the patron saint of Cornwall. It’s a chance to reflect on our identity, our culture and our heritage – including the rich mining history that has shaped Cornwall for generations.
Legend has it that St Piran rediscovered how to smelt tin, a discovery that's credited with kick-starting the Cornish mining revolution. Did you know the St Piran’s flag itself is thought to represent white molten tin flowing from the black roasted ore? 〓〓
Mining is woven into Cornwall’s story, and we’re mindful of that proud legacy as we explore how modern, responsible approaches can support Cornwall’s future.
How will you be celebrating today?
(We'll be having a pasty, we are miners after all!)
