2024... oh what ride!
We decided to start playing shows again.
Starting the year with selling out both @abconcerts and @trix_online in a few hours together with the amazing @priceduifkes A weekend with great shows that gave us so much energy.
We played @absolutelyfreefestival , @join_off.track and @rockolmen and did two hometown shows that were so much fun.
In the meantime we released our classic 2003 album ‘The Farewell Drive’ on vinyl with @beardedpunkrec and had new merch on the table.
We enjoyed all the singalongs so much that we will be doing more of that stuff in 2025. What to expect? We don’t know either. But we will be playing @getoutofmygaragefest in Genk on March 22nd.

𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨 @ 𝙂𝙊𝙊𝙈𝙂: 𝙇𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙜𝙨𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙣𝙠𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙠-𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙯𝙞𝙟𝙣 𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙪𝙜!
Na jaren van stilte trekt 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨 opnieuw hun Vans strak om de vaderlandse podia in vuur en vlam te zetten, zo stonden ze al in een uitverkochte Trix Club en AB club. Deze Limburgse legendes mixen emo, punkrock en post-hardcore tot een explosieve melange die al generaties fans in de ban houdt. De vuisten mogen weer de lucht in, want die eerste noten gaan harder en vetter klinken dan ooit tevoren!
Back in the day stonden ze al op festivals als Pukkelpop en Rock Herk, en tourden ze door zalen in heel Europa. Nu zijn deze Belgische scene-iconen eindelijk terug op het podium, en wij kunnen niet wachten om ze te verwelkomen op 𝙂𝙊𝙊𝙈𝙂.

How many times did we hit a stage at a @groezrock or @riorockbe show/party/festival? We've lost count... But it felt so good to be back. A local/hometown show always feels special but this one was more than that! Thank you all for dancing and singing along! We owe you! Thanks to Hans, Kurt and the whole Groezrock/Riorock team!!

One week after our Hasselt show we feel the need to share a short message with you all.
A message of love and kindness.
Cornflames never had and never will have a masterplan. But sometimes it feels like it all comes together the way we wanted to. After being silent for seven years we still experience so much love for our music, our songs and the shows we play. Trix and AB got sold out, in Hasselt 400 amazing people showed up and our future shows are all selling fast. We can only say we feel overwhelmed by your sing-alongs and dance moves and nice words after the shows. Familiar faces, but also younger people that never had the chance to see us in the past come and say hi. It’s happening right in front of our eyes and we are watching it with the biggest of smiles.
We know these are dark and challenging times and sometimes the future feels like a big struggle. Most of our songs are about heartbreak and not fitting in, but some of them are also about being powerful as a human being, to make a change, to deal with it all … We try to soften the blow, go on a one-way holiday, fight fire with fire and start a revolting rock show.
But never without all of you.
We feel extremely grateful for the way you welcomed us back. You are the kindest people we know.
And kindness is all we need right now.
Let’s not forget this!

Groezrock and Riorock, two amazing festivals from the past, are joining forces!

Both fests gave our band so many chances to grow and find new audiences. We had the best time and saw so many amazing bands and met some truely inspiring people. We are happy they’re back.
