Ever wonder why an unknown dog runs with you in the mountains? It’s something words can’t really explain. One moment you’re running alone through the misty trails, and suddenly, a dog appears out of nowhere. He doesn’t bark, doesn’t ask for food... he just starts running beside you, as if he was waiting for you all along. Sometimes he leads the way, stopping every few steps to make sure you’re following. Sometimes he runs right next to you, quietly matching your pace. And in that silence, there’s a strange kind of peace—like the mountains themselves sent him to keep you company. The locals say these mountain dogs have a sixth sense. They can feel your energy: your calm, your fears, your thoughts. Some believe they walk only with travelers who carry a kind heart. Others say they appear to protect you on unknown paths. But maybe... it’s something more spiritual than that. Maybe they’re old souls of the mountains, sent to remind us that even when we think we’re wandering alone, the universe always finds a way to send company. When you finally reach your destination and turn around, he’s just gone. No goodbyes, no looking back. Because he was never meant to stay... only to run with you for that one journey. Mar a mar 2025… nuevamente cruzando la baja sur del mar de Cortés al Pacífico por la Sierra de La Laguna, 105kms en tres días porque una vez no fue suficiente así que repetimos después de dos años para la revancha de una primer edición que había costado mucho … Igual de demandante pero esta vez llegué con una nueva perspectiva, con más fuerza mental y física y eso hizo que no solo lo hiciera mejor sino que la disfrutara más y gozara con amigos y nuevos amigos cada ruta y sus increíbles paisajes para así cerrar así una gran temporada 2025 Hasta pronto @maramartrail gracias por los aprendizajes de este año y gracias a mi @rebelteammx ! 📸 (1&8) @photoplanet.mx #trailrunning #trailrun #trailrunner #ultrarunning #ultrarunner #yocrucebajasur

Crewing and pacing are wonderful aspects of ultra running, and anything I can say about it falls short in comparison to the experience I lived by doing it for the first time Moab 240 was a unique and inspiring lifetime adventure where I confirmed once again that the human body is capable of incredible things I had the wonderful opportunity of joining @ironmr10 as part of his crew and pacers on his last challenge to achieve an historic goal I did it for 27.32 miles, due to the cruel weather in the previous days, my “afternoon start,” became a night run that started at 2 a.m. and ended around 11 a.m. A beautiful, cold night that made me think how hard it must be to run for days with little sleep and how strong the bodies and minds of each of the participating runners must be to complete an endurance run like this It was certainly an honor to be part of Manuel’s team, along with other @rebelteammx runners, and to be part of the history he just made, as he not only completed his second Moab race, but also became the first Mexican to complete the Triple Crown!! @destinationtrailraces 200 miles + runner in training #ultrarunning #ultrarunner #ultrarun #moab240 #destinationtrailraces
