Californian composer and multi-keyboard performer, Derek Primo Silbermann, is a multi-hyphenate musician through and through. With his studio in based in Santa Clara, Derek performs throughout the Bay Area and the rest of the state. You might encounter him playing solo jazz piano, with a reggae band, conducting a choir from the pipe organ in a cathedral, or composing for tv and other media. With his trio, there will be a mix of Derek’s originals, and arrangements of anything from standards to Pink Floyd to Nintendo classic themes. All through of this through the lens of Derek’s, “Augminished” style.

I’ve never made buttercream, let alone chocolate non-dairy buttercream. Never made a layer cake or used this cake stand we were given as a wedding gift either. Im hoping the gluten-free cake layers are sturdy enough to not collapse before VanNessa Hulme Silbermann gets home to try this thing out.

The tide was getting higher at Ratner Beach, and we knew our love. Taking midnight pictures on the rocks as the tide came in, it only took 5 years to get married from there. That was still the best party we have thrown. Happy Post Anniversary my love.

That time before masks were a thing and we helped clear out a real mess. I’ve known you almost 20 years and we have been tackling problems together for more than 15 of those. Good thing 9 years ago we solved the problem of not being together, and 4 years ago today cleared up that not being married mess.
