A M A N G I R I one of those moments where the whole week felt like a dream. amangiri is tucked away in remote valley in southern utah - it completely blends in with the surrounding landscape. the design is absolutely stunning and it provides a pocket of modernist sandstone luxury in the desert. although I took many of my favorite photos ever on my southwest roadtrip, ending the trip with shooting @amangiri was such a blessing, and I can’t wait to share more of it with you!

empire state of mind . . . new york city, golden hour looks good on you! some of my favorite nyc photo I’ve ever taken, and one of the best sunsets in the city that I’ve ever experienced. there are moments in life where you’re just so happy that you forget, for just a second, everything negative in the world around and just appreciate the moment you’re in. this was one of those moments for me 🥰 :: do you prefer your empire to be a state building or ruled by the ottoman turks?

there are some places that make you understand why people fall in love with traveling in the first place salar de uyuni felt like one of those ✨ for a few months every year, a thin layer of water transforms the salt flats into the world’s largest mirror and the line between the sky and earth completely disappears. one of the most surreal places i’ve ever seen and somehow even more beautiful in person 🪞☁️🇧🇴 a few tips if you’re planning on visiting: ☁️ mirror season is usually jan–march depending on rainfall ☁️ april can actually be amazing because you sometimes get both reflections + dry salt patterns ☁️ tours typically leave from uyuni town, to get to uyuni from la paz you can either fly or take an overnight bus ☁️ sunrise + sunset were by far the prettiest times to shoot ☁️ bring sunglasses - the reflection is BRIGHT ☁️ if you can, book a night in one of the hotel built from salt nearby (@palaciodesal ), waking up out there before sunrise is part of the magic it’s well worth a spot on your bucket list 🙂‍↕️

a sky full of stars ✨ places like uyuni are considered “dark zones” with almost no light pollution, so the stars show up so much brighter and being in the southern hemisphere means seeing an entirely different night sky than back home - constellations we don’t even recognize, the milky way stretching a little clearer everyone goes to uyuni for the day, but it’s worth staying for the night

i’ve had salar de uyuni in bolivia saved for years… and it still didn’t feel real until this moment just walking through the mirror effect - where a thin layer of water turns the world’s largest salt flat into a perfect reflection of the sky no filters, no tricks… just one of the most surreal travel experiences in bolivia definitely one of those true bucket list places that lives up to the hype 🤍

guate a dream 🫶🏼 a volcano sleepover on acatenango means straight uphill, thin air, fully questioning your decisions… and then you get to the top and fuego is just erupting like clockwork every 15–20 mins. actual lava flying into the sky while you’re sitting there like… this can’t be real quick tips if you’re doing it: 🌋 go with a reputable guide (worth it for pacing + gear) 🌋 layers are everything, it gets cold at the top 🌋 rent a porter if you’re on the fence… your future self will thank you 🌋 electrolytes are everything (you’ll feel the altitude + the climb) 🌋 bring snacks you actually look forward to eating lol and then lake atitlán to reset 🫶🏼 slow mornings, yoga with volcano views, hopping between towns by boat. each one feels totally different, no real plans, just letting the days happen guatemala is wild in the best way and getting to experience it with friends makes it that much better 🤍

les 3 vallées days just hit different 🎿 every time you think you’re done there’s another lift like “just one more” 🎿 long cruisy runs where you kind of forget how far you’ve gone 🎿 popping between courchevel, méribel, val thorens for the best food, shopping and apres 🎿 espresso stops turn into aperol spritz turns into racing down for the last lift saved this one for a while and it somehow still exceeded expectations if you’re planning a ski trip in europe, make it here - and give yourself more time than you think, because you won’t want to leave 🙂‍↕️🫶🏼

lotus lake has been one of those pins sitting on my maps for years - like truly years. one of those places you save and keep thinking ok one day when i make it back to taiwan so finally being there in kaohsiung, with my camera, felt a little surreal. the whole edge of the lake is lined with temples, pagodas, and shrines, so you can basically just wander from one to the next all morning. the dragon and tiger pagodas are the most famous - you enter through the dragon and exit through the tiger, which is supposed to turn bad luck into good luck one of those spots that’s been living on your saved list forever and then you finally get to see it with your own eyes. honestly such a good slow morning activity.

celebrating another year around the sun 🎂 somehow this year held a whole lifetime inside it - moving to a new continent, stepping away from the version of life that felt expected, and slowly building one that feels right. new places, new rhythms, new friends that showed up at just the right time… and making extra space for the people who have always been there. i spent a lot of this year learning to slow down, to notice things, to trust the in-between. turns out growth isn’t always loud. sometimes it’s just feeling calm where you used to feel rushed. really grateful for every moment that got me here. really excited for what’s next. oh and happy lunar new year 🧧 ✨
