We had a beautiful father and son day at the NAGA Jui-Jitsu tournamnet today. @lincolnreisthomas our little big guy won his bracket of competition and clinched his first Gold metal for 5 and under 40-49lbs Grey Belt. We’re so happy to watch and support him as he tests himself with these amazing kids, last year he had a 2nd place finish and this year he finished even stronger.
His 3 days a week of training regiment with sister Faith is cementing his base of jitsu knowledge. He is calm and collected in between his rolls. I’m so proud of him and cherish every moment with him.

I also competed today and took home my second Gold, this time as a blue belt for my division 40+ 170-179 Middleweight.
Larissa and Faith also had an incredible day at team dance competition where Faith showed her training on her team troop also clenching their 1st place finish. Her dedication to Jitsu and dance have been outstanding and we celebrated them both with a beautiful lunch!!

Today’s Belt Ceremony at Carlson Gracie Henderson was very special. After closing in on 2 years of Jiu-Jitsu training, 3 days a week, Faith and Lincoln have officially graduated from white belt to Grey/White belts together today. They have both been consistent and dedicated to getting better everyday. Through bumps, bruises, and hard moments they continue on a path that will serve them for their whole life. Today’s ceremony was very special for me, as I watch our children get tossed over the black belts onto the mat signifying their graduation to the next belt, I shook their hands in the line as one of their Coaches and snapped a picture of their faces. Absolutely priceless and earned. We are so proud of Faith and Lincoln today. Jiu-Jitsu has saved my life more than once and I recommend it for everyone. Every black belt is a white belt who kept going. Keep going friends! ❤️
