Went for a drive and followed an internal pull that led me down a random backroad 30 miles from home. I followed the road until this valley came into view during the perfect light as the sun was preparing to go down. I turned off my car started recording a voice memo on my phone and the first thing that came to mind was this chorus/idea (first slide)
After I hit stop on the voice recording, the location of where I happened to end up became the name on the recording and it read ‘NW Corey Rd’. (Fourth slide)
There are certain signs that keep me on this path and the search for something deeper than me. Some are loud and some are faint. This one was deafening.
