Evan and Bobby were absolutely a bonded pair. When I was dropping them off at the transport shuttle going up to Canada, I had brought Evan aboard first. Jonathan, the driver, said he wasn’t told these dogs were this big. He didn’t have another large crate available to be able to take both. He only had a medium size crate which would be too small. So it looks like he was going to have to get Bobby on next week’s Shuttle Which of course leaves both of them separated for another week and the Bobby has to be in boarding and completely alone for another week. I told him they were better off in the same crate anyway as they were very bonded. At this point Evan was already on board in the large crate curled up in a ball at the far end and door was still open. I was still holding onto Bobby who was tugging on me as if trying to get to his brother Evan. Jonathon said it would be too cramped for both to be in the same crate. It just wasn’t going to work. Jonathon walked to the very back of the Shuttle toward Evan, I let Bobby pull the leash out of my hand and he sniffed his way all the way to the back, walked right in to Evan‘s crate and snuggled up to him. Jonathon stood and watched for a second and said something to the effect of “well I guess that settles that doesn’t it!” He closed the crate door and he got on the road. They were Canada a few days later.
Glen needs your help! Need an emergency short term Foster for Glen! Just for two days starting tomorrow, Saturday. He has a distemper which, according to people I’ve talked to and the Internet is not contagious to people or cats or vaccinated dogs. A long-term Foster is available Sunday night/Monday.
Who can help Glen out?? : )
You could have Glenn! He’d love to have you too 🙂 even if Can only Foster for a while. Is it the vet for a few more days cause he wasn’t feeling well out of the shelter. Any takers? : )
Help!!! Lexi and Sadie, smaller non fence-jumping, playful, people and dog, friendly huskies are gonna be taken back to the shelter tomorrow by another transporter they were dumped on. Will most certainly be euthanized. Workers are working on longer-term Fosters or forever homes. But we need to buy just enough time for them not to go back to the shelter tomorrow. let me know if you can help out!

Need a place for shadow to go at least for tonight till we can figure out why the gal who is supposed to be his forever home is not returning our calls or texts. I’ve been sitting at the Denny’s in Temecula for about two hours now reading a place for him to go.
