Tour Blog Part 1 My 1st flight from Providence to Detroit was delayed due to something faulty in the planes pressure system. Ended up leaving a day later and arriving in England the morning of rehearsal. No sleep, but good to be with the @la_dispute fam. Morning of the first show I tweaked my back either unzipping my suitcase or merely thinking about unzipping my suitcase. Either could be true at this point. Slow start on the road to rock. But onwards. First show was in Glasgow, one of my favorite cities. Can barely stand up straight but the very spirit of rock takes over when we play and I start shakin my hips so hard Elvis comes back to life and faints at the sight of it. Scotland never recovers. Just kidding. We shake off a bit of rust and have ourselves a beautiful show. The next few we start to find our stride. The UK always treats us well. People compliment my new guitar and that makes me feel great. @gingerdope surprises us in Manchester and we get to see our best friend for never enough time. They show us a preview of a stunning new short film they made for @victoriacanal and it left us, appropriately, stunned. Friends making amazing art is best. We get to see our friend @splitfoyer in Cardiff. Actually, we get to see Bill at every UK show as he amazingly comes out to all of them whenever we are over here. Very humbling. But in Cardiff, Bill interviews us about one of our favorite collective subjects. The OG homies in @pianosband He is writing a book about their history. Can't think of a more deserving band to be archived in such a cool way. As we share funny old stories and a collective awe of their talents, I am reminded just how special the history of what we get to do as artists is. Knowing like minded friends, sharing the road, stages and late nights hanging. Personally, knowing Pianos predates my time with La Dispute. Being able to frame these stories against the backdrop of almost 18 some odd years of shared time really makes me stop to think of how insane it is that I am here, doing this at all. Grateful doesn't begin to cover it. The shows continue to rock. You all continue to energize us. More soon. đź’› -Corey đź“·@alyxvass

Just finished this cool weird guy for @coreface literally moments before he left for his @la_dispute tour. If you’re in Europe, check this guitar out as it crosses the continent. Special thanks to @alyxvass for all these gorgeous pics of Corey & guitar , @golddaggerlab for the sick strap that connects them and of course @coreface for wanting to build a guitar with me. . This is the first headstock I’ve ever made like this but it definitely won’t be the last. Corey came to me with a really beautiful concept of what he wanted this guitar to be and he was generous enough to let me put my own spin on it. Corey in his own words about the guitar : “I wanted to make a guitar that represented my daughter. Thinking a lot about my own identity as an adopted Korean American and her being bi-racial, I began to look for inspiration that had un-forced ideas of who she might be and how she will identify with herself and hopefully have a much easier time with it, filled with self love. I settled on pulling inspiration from Korean moon jars. A distinctly Korean type of pottery that had no influence from Chinese or Japanese culture, which is very common for much of the ancient crafts. A jar of two halves, fired together with flaws and disproportion from gravity left intact. This turned into our idea for a viewing window into the “jar” and the guitar itself, for me to keep an ever rotating bunch of keepsakes and trinkets that remind me of my true joy. My baby Iseul Rose.” from top to bottom: @hipshotproducts locking tuners @montanapaintsupply metallic ice blue Maple Neck, Hexagon Volute Rosewood fingerboard , Ebony Nut 25.5” scale length Stainless steel Jumbo Frets 12” radius , 24 frets 2 way boost switch Holcomb Parabola Fretmarkers Bolt on neck Moon jar triple pickguard @seymourduncanpickups Jared James Nichols Silencer P90 @g_gotoh510 Wraparound bridge Paulonia body with viewing window #customguitar #luthier #moonjar #holcombguitars #ladispute

New Guitar Day! The day before we left for tour I picked up this crazy new guitar, custom built by my friend Nick: @holcombguitars a true master of making your wildest ideas come to life. I wanted to make a guitar that represented my daughter. Thinking a lot about my own identity as an adopted Korean American and her being bi-racial, I began to look for inspiration that had un-forced ideas of who she might be and how she will identify with herself and hopefully have a much easier time with it, filled with self love. Tech Specs: Paulonia body Bolt on 25.5" scale maple neck with rosewood fretboard 12" radius, stainless steel jumbo frets, ebony nut Hexagon volute with custom Holcomb headstock and parabola fretmarkers 2 way boost switch @seymourduncanpickups Jared James Nichols Silencer P90 @g_gotoh510 wraparound bridge @hipshotproducts locking tuners @montanapaintsupply metallic ice blue Moon Jar pick guard Hand-dyed, on reclaimed denim strap from @golddaggerlab Live Photos: @alyxvass and @gingerdope Everyone check out @holcombguitars And get something awesome made. đź’›

Slow to start the new year digitally to no one's surprise. Speaking of digital... Charity got us a photo session to make these incredible family heirlooms, done in tintype by @holyfire_co The coolest and most supremely analog of photo mediums. Thank you for this beautiful gift. Truly stunning work. I have a bunch of new things I'm working on throughout this year. Hoping it will be a new beginning for a lot of things creatively. See you soon. Gotta go stress about heading out for tour. Peace.

Shout out to my little brother, Bryan Stroffolino. His birthday was yesterday and I usually never post about him because for 30 years I thought there were no pics of us growing up (long story). And as adults, he is picture allergic and generally much less attention seeking than his big bro. Anyway, he's the best. I love him. Here we are holding very racially on-the-nose dolls amongst other things. đź’›

are you no one? do you have questions? NOWDTC podcast coming in 2026 This podcast will cover all 14 songs from the album. With some time since it’s release, we will reflect on the legacy it’s about to engrave across various End of the Year Top Ten lists and substack posts. Leave questions below and we will answer a few as we record. The more specific the better. Don’t have them all be for Jordan. Sometimes the music can be lyrics too, ya know? 💛 -Corey #ladispute 🌸

Our new record is out today. I really feel like we gave this one our all. I am so proud of every decision we made to get this to where it is now. Working on it pulled me from a long and cynical cloud of wondering where making art fits into my life and the "world at large". I've not learned the answer. But I realized that for myself, thinking that way wasn't engaging me with the bigger picture of human existence like I thought it was. It was making something historical and infinite like art and human creation only about myself and how I feel about it. I'm motivated to make things again. I'm back in love with playing guitar as an obsession again. My 5 month old daughter loves guitar. It fills me with such joy. How can I be cynical about that? This is our best record. For what it is and for what the process did for me. Listen to it. It's everywhere. Watch the documentary on it that our best friend Martin made on YouTube. I hope you love it. I hope you are doing something you love. See you soon.

Happy Birthday to my best friend. The beauty-bug herself. Mother of the morning dew. Charity, Iseul and I love you more than words can describe. I'm so grateful and happy to be sharing life with you. 💛🪲

First trip away from Iseul. She's just over three months old. Happy to be playing music again. But missing her so much. Trying to do something she might be proud of one day. Gives me great appreciation for my father who would be gone for months on a submarine when my older sisters were young. Because of his hard work and encouragement I get to play music and be gone for a few weeks at a time chasing a dream. I hope Iseul knows to chase her dreams.
