Swampling is a polite-grunge group from Amsterdam who scavenge sonic elements from Irish traditional, shoegaze, Mediafire lofi, noise rock, and spiritual jazz. Usually a five-piece band, this intimate duo iteration features aido wall (Mortgage, blusher) on vocals and guitar, accompanied by Till Hormann (Pittori Locali, Délage) on saxophone and guitar. Together, Hormann and wall lean closer into both the blistering waves of distortion and the creaky moments of quietude that define the quiet-loud dynamics of the group – weaving harrowed melodies and songs from within the eternal freefall of late-capitalist collapse.
Swampling will play alongside Angelina Nonaj + Natalia Panzer + tibslc at OUTLINE, Het Veem
Friday 22 May, 19:30–21:30
OUTLINE at Het Veem, Amsterdam

For the second mix in our corecore shorts series we are very excited to present 'Cmaj', a mix by $quib, @_doubleprime / @explosivetemper .
$quib is Brock Bierly and Krotida Satyra, originally from New Jersey and now based in Brooklyn. Their music contains confessional and sometimes opaque songwriting filtered through fragmented production.
The mix is listenable via our Soundcloud /corecorecc ✜
Brought together by a passion for small independent music scenes, Benjamim Furtado together with Callum Dean & Jan-Pieter ‘t Hart present a live sonic event and pamphlet that reflects on the kinds of noises, spaces, and infrastructures that are needed to facilitate a convivial and autonomous music culture. In their dwellings, parallels are made between the architectures of independent venues and the networks and systems through which music is published, distributed and discussed.
Join us on Friday 17 April, 21:15, at Roodkapje (Rotterdam) during MOMO Festival
Entry: donation based

A playful, chaotic b2b - blending colorful sound journeys with shadowy, unpredictable club energy. TiZi - vocal artist and DJ - brings bouncy, percussion-rich sets shaped by jazzy house, sexy south and global rhythms, guided by movement, color and feeling.
iced lattina bends genres into cryptic soundscapes - moving from ambient to plugg, trap to drone with EVILGRL energy and sudden turns.
Together, expect wonky circus melodies, American rhythms and a high-bounce mix of R&B, batida, kuduro, tarraxo and baile funk; intuitive, sexy and off-center.
~friday 27 march, 21:00–03:00 at De Sering

Felicity J Lord is a band, a word which usually means a group of musicians (which is also true) but here means a group of misfits, internet lurkers, poets, polka-dotted ballerinas, CEOs, time travellers, and forever-kids. Felicity J Lord is a company, a family, a video game, a never-ending play in two acts. Their first album came out last year as a joint release by Stroom and Lise.
