Are you seeing the destruction of life in Rafah? Are you sick with how our tax dollars continue to fuel violence? Of our politicians and their complicity? Are revolutionary times coming? If we make them. Is the end of the world at our doorstep? If we let her knock. I’m not scared of the apocalypse, I’m not scared of end times. I’m scared of what happens if we don’t mobilise. If all of us with the comfort to do so don’t step into our collective power. One person does not a movement make. One person will not change the world. Every day we wake up and change the world with our breath, with our habits, with our love or our ignorance and our hate. What will it take us to embody, at scale, the conditions necessary for change? What actions can you take to empower the collective? For me, it’s teaching, for me it’s being in the streets, for me it’s showing up to spaces where I’m not always comfortable and making time to be in those that nurture me fully. There is no one coming to save us. That is a patriarchal view that separates us from our power. If we want peace on earth, then we need to be peace on earth. I want a new kind of democracy — hint: it’ll take all of us and it doesn’t involve politicians. I want the white guys out. I want to defund the military. I want our connection to plants and animals to be so strong, we would never rape our planet earth. What do you want? Who’s with you?
